I too will dearly MISS this Great Man...a scholar par excellence who came from humble beginnings to rise to the peak of achievement. I met him in person for the first time at the IOSS Annual Seminar at Chandigarh in November 2005 and when he introduced himself I was elated becasue I had heard of his many books and writings during the days I was doing my Gyani form Punjab University...and this regarded myself as his student. This great man so high in his field and yet so humble to be so gentle and kind to a mere student of his..I was doubly impressed. More than that the Sikh Nation will miss his further contributions to our Literature and History..a loss too great to be stated. May Guru Ji Bless him to be at His Lotus feet and the famaily he left behind to bear with his loss while keeping in Chardeekalla . After the demise of Dr Kharrak Singh Ji not long ago..this is the second biggest loss to IOSS as well...these two will be missed at the Annual Seminars.Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/sikh-personalities/35666-punjabi-scholar-dr-harnam-singh-shan.htmlReference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=35666
