Arrow Re: The Ghost of Khalistan By Balbir Punj

It is my understanding that "the soil that is set foot on by a true khalsa, has become his home, his state, his khalistan" its just my personal philosophy that where the ideals of khalsa flourish that place is khalistan.

i mean im only a young guy at 17 so forgive my cowboy knowledge and english, however i have had this conversation with some freinds before and what frequently surfaces is topics like country divisions and their subsequent justice systems and ethics when guised with religion are mixing constitutions of man with ones of god. With all due respect i wouldnt want to see an evolution of sikh rehat into islamic shariah where capital punishment faces non believers.

And in regards to

Quote:
The concept of Khalistan, a landlocked state, was a product of minds which favoured fantasy to realism.
that is a bit harsh, i know it may sound trivial but on forms and application enquiring your ethnicity or curtural heritage i have been reduced to saying pakistani as this is where my grandparents place of birth is and there is no box to tick that says punjabi or indeed khalistani. without sounding cheeky ihave often found myself constructiong a box of my own to the amusement of my peers.
