i understand when people have names like shannon and john because of there backround etc. But we don't want to go to far because some of the names have meanings. And those meanings might be something different from the Sikh religion. for ex: Christain Singh. having a first name christain from christinaty and singh from Sikhism doesn't sound right. Before you chose any name you should what the meanings are.
